This article provides the steps to enable the MyEducator developer key in Canvas. When integrating MyEducator with Canvas, a “Page Not Found” error can appear upon launching from the MyEducator CanvasConnect link. Enabling the inherited MyEducator developer key within Canvas fixes this issue. Administrator permissions are needed to complete this task.
1. Select Admin in the left-hand menu.
2. Click the Developer Keys link.
3. Select the Inherited option.
4. Scroll to the bottom of this page and click the "Show All Keys" button.
5. Locate "MyEducator" in this list. The Details column should display the number 170000000000188.
6. Flip the State switch to the “On” position.
