This is a guide for verifying if the MyEducator CanvasConnect external tool app has been installed at either the Canvas institutional level or the Canvas course level.
1. Navigate to the Canvas course you will be using.
2. Navigate to the Settings page.
3. Select the Apps tab.
4. Click the View App Configurations button.
5a. Look for the MyEducator CanvasConnect external tool app listed in the yellow-outlined section. If you cannot find it listed, it has not been installed at either the Canvas institutional level or at the Canvas course level.
5b. Look for the MyEducator CanvasConnect external tool app listed in the yellow-outlined section. If you find it listed, and see a lock icon on its left and an information icon to its right, it has been installed by your Canvas administrator at the Canvas institutional level.
5c. Look for the MyEducator CanvasConnect external tool app listed in the yellow-outlined section. If you find it listed, and see a gear icon to its right, it has been installed at the Canvas course level.
You have successfully verified if the MyEducator CanvasConnect external tool app has been installed! If the app has not yet been installed, use this guide to install it yourself or reach out to your Canvas administrator sending them this guide.
