This error can produce one of three different error messages. Each message is resolved in a different way.

Here is an example of the first version of this error:

The reasons for this error are given in the error message itself. The file is saved in a location that excel can't access.

For example, in the image above, the file is saved in a temp folder. This happens when the option to open the file is selected without first downloading or saving the file to the computer.

This error can be resolved by moving the location of the file to the desktop or somewhere else where excel can access it, and then submitting again.

Here is the second version of this error:

This error occured because the file has the same sheet name more than once.

In this example, there were two sheets named Address Book.

Once the duplication is removed, the file can be submitted without encountering the error.

This error will occasionally break excel in a way that prevents you from deleting the duplicate sheets, and from move sheets into a different workbook. If sheets can't be moved or deleted, you will need to rename the sheet.

Here is the third version of this error.

This error can happen when a file becomes corrupted in some way. The file could either have been damaged, or Macros may have been lost.

Usually, the best solution for this error is to download a clean copy of the file and start over. Work can be copied over from the corrupted file.

If you receive this version of the error, you should also run a scan with your antivirus software. Malware can cause this error.

If none of the above solutions are helping, you can send your file to MyEducator support to be submitted by clicking your name -> contact us in MyEducator. You can also email us at support@myeducator.com; if Gmail and other email providers prevent sending macro-enabled files, you can use wetransfer.com.
