Who this is for

This article is for Microsoft Office administrators that want to deploy the MyEducator Add-in broadly for their users. This will make the add-in available automatically for anyone on the license you install it for.


Users have the ability to download the MyEducator Add-in from the Microsoft store directly, or use our installers for Windows or macOS, but a mass deployment can avoid some of the confusion that may arise during that process.


A mass deploy is also a good option for institutions that would prefer to not allow students access to other Office Add-ins, but would like them to have the MyEducator Add-in installed


***note*** Centralized deployment is only possible if your Office license includes Microsoft Exchange


Deploying the Add-in

From the Microsoft 365 admin center you will go to: 


    Settings > Integrated apps


From here, you have two options:

  • Select the Add-in from the Add-in store by clicking 'Get apps'
  • Upload the Add-in directly by clicking 'Upload custom apps' 
    • Under 'App type' select 'Office Add-in
    • Upload the manifest file attached to this article


Following these steps will deploy the MyEducator add-in to your organization without users needing to take any other steps.
