Compatibility
The Add-in has multiple ways it can be installed to ensure broad compatibility across as many platforms as possible. Limitations of compatibility are primarily Microsoft limitations rather than MyEducator limitations.
To ensure compatibility, users should have the latest updates installed for their Office applications, Operating Systems and web browsers. Because the add-in window itself is a system browser integrated within the Office applications, Operating System and Browser versions are relevant to it's functionality.
Some operating systems versions(Windows and macOS) may limit updates based on hardware requirements. Consulting Microsoft or Apple documentation can be informative when determining if that limitation exists.
Office version limitations
As of right now, Excel online is the only online Office application officially supported for the MyEducator Add-in. While PowerPoint online and Word online exist, Microsoft's add-in support within them is limited, and they lack the full feature set of their desktop counterparts.
While mobile Office applications also exist for both iOS and Android, there's also insufficient support for features, and for Office Add-ins from Microsoft to provide the MyEducator Add-in on these platforms.
