The MyEducator Add-in is a small application that brings MyEducator features directly into Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. It appears within Office applications as a task pane, allowing students to view instructions and complete MyEducator coursework directly within the Office applications.
The Add-in connects the open Office file to MyEducator. It can read information from the Office application, and automatically builds files to provide assignment content.
The MyEducator Add-in can also provide instructions, check completed work, give feedback, and record assignment progress or completion. These features help students work through assignments without repeatedly switching between the Office applications and learning material in a separate browser window.
Academic Integrity
Each assignment attempt is linked directly to a specific student, ensuring reporting accuracy. MyEducator also employs a suite of security tools built right into the Add-in to provide academic integrity.
Smart Connections - Smart Reporting
Upon the completion of an Add-in assignment, students submit their work directly from the MyEducator Add-in, and have their grade reported immediately, when supported. No need to upload the file themselves, or use any external grading tools. After submission, grades can be found directly on the MyEducator website, or through one of our many supported LMS integrations.
