Note: What you see in your course may differ from the screenshots you see in this article.

Note: If you are retaking a course, that uses the same MyEducator digital textbook as you purchased before, you do not need to purchase the digital textbook again. Go through the steps listed in this article, and the MyEducator system should recognize your prior purchase. If not, please reach out to the MyEducator support team at support@myeducator.com.

Steps to access and purchase the MyEducator digital textbook from your Moodle course:

1. Log in to your Moodle account.

Depending on your institution/organization, this may be done through the university/college website.

2. Navigate to your Moodle course.

3. Locate and click on any MyEducator link found in your Moodle course.

Below are some examples of what MyEducator links might look like and where they might be found (your professor/instructor can help you if you cannot find them).

4. You should now see the "Student IDs" screen (seen below). Click the "Continue" button.

Note: If instead, you see the "empty shopping cart" screen (also seen below), try refreshing the page. If refreshing the page doesn't update your view to the "Payment" screen, follow these suggestions:

  • Use a laptop or desktop computer - Do not use a tablet or phone to purchase the textbook.
  • Use the internet browsers Chrome or Firefox.
  • Clear your browser's cache, and then try again.
  • Completely quit/exit out of your internet browser. Re-start/re-open your browser, and then try again.
  • If you are still only able to see the "empty shopping cart" screen and are unable to see the "Payment" screen, please reach out to the MyEducator support team at support@myeducator.com.

"Student IDs" screen

Contrary to what this page says, entering your student ID is not necessary. But if the page doesn't let you proceed without entering an ID, either enter your student ID or an arbitrary number.
