Instructors and students have the ability to select the version of Excel that is being used. The MyEducator resource/textbook will automatically update the content to match that selected version of Excel. The available versions are: Excel for Windows, Excel for Mac, and Excel Online. To select the appropriate version, follow the instructions below.


NOTE: THIS IS ONLY FOR EXCEL COURSES. YOUR ABILITY TO SELECT THE VERSION OF EXCEL TO BE USED IS SUBJECT TO YOUR INSTITUTION AND/OR YOUR INSTRUCTOR. IF NEEDED, ASK YOUR INSTRUCTOR FOR MORE INFO. 


1. Be sure you have accessed MyEducator through your Learning Management System (Canvas, Blackboard, Brightspace, Moodle, Learning Suite) and that you are viewing your Excel resource/textbook.


2. On the title page of your Excel resource/textbook, click the "Start Learning" button.


3. Click "Advanced Options" in the menu on the right-hand side of the screen.


4. Select the version of Excel that corresponds with the version you are using, and click "Save."
