Instructors have the option of how and when to display auto-generated feedback for student assessment submissions. In addition, instructors have the option to write custom feedback that will be displayed to a single student for a specific submission. Here are the steps for instructors to write their own feedback:
1. Click Manage > Assessments.
2. Click the "Submissions" icon next to the assessment in question.
3. Scroll or filter to find the name of the student for whom you would like to write feedback, and click on the submission.
4. On the right-had side, locate the text field labeled "Feedback for Student," and type your comments there.
**Note: You can also make a note about the submission in the "Grading Notes" field. This information will not be shared with the student.
5. Click "Post Grade" to publish your feedback to the student.
