Instructors in a Prometheus (Excel/Access) Course have the ability to either view a score from a student's file, or submit an assignment on behalf of a student. You will need the original file downloaded and completed by the student. Be sure to enable Macros when opening the file.
To submit on the student's behalf:
1. In the students assignment file go to the "Assignment" tab and click "Submit".
2. Enter your instructor credentials ONLY. (*Note: Do not include the student's information at this point.)
3. Select the option "Grade assignment and record score on behalf". (*Note: The student's email address will auto-populate since this is their assignment file.)
This will record the score for this assignment on behalf of the student.
To view the student's score without submitting:
1. Go to "Assignment" and click "Submit".
2. Enter your instructor credentials ONLY. (*Note: Do not include the student's information at this point.)
3. Select the option "Show grading results without recording score".
This will allow you to view the grading results for the student without submitting it on the system.
MyEducator support can also submit files on behalf of students.
